Graphic Design Work

I have experience in graphic design for more than 15 years. Over time, it was sometimes my main occupation, sometimes a side gig. I have worked as a freelancer and created visuals for many clients (small and big businesses, NGOs, and individuals) based in the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Poland, France, Cyprus, Bulgaria and more.

My technical skills include graphic design of digital materials of any sort (banners, social media content, business presentations, visual reports etc.) and print design (books, brochures, flyers, posters etc.). I am fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fresco etc.).

Corporate Graphic Design.

Client: FORZA Consulting, for their product SCANMAN. Redesign of their corporate presentations and creating templates for their team.
Created also custom iconography following their brand guideliness.

Logo Design.

While logo design is not my speciality, I still create upon request as well as visual identity guidelines when needed.

For my client BetterCyprus, I led them through an exploration of what their NGO stands for and what they would like to address with their identity.

For Studies in Bulgaria, we redesigned their traditional cactus logo in a more stylised visual, as they started a new business direction and needed to visualise the difference from their original logo.

For the escape room BioXcape, the brief included a play with the extinction symbol that represents the threat of holocene extinction on Earth as well as following their visual identity guidelines.

E-books & booklets.

I’ve done numerous digital and print booklets, catalogues, and e-books. Here are some examples:

2_ Sofia’s Entrepreneurial Adventures is an e-book for women entrepreneurs with guidelines and tips. The project was created by me and Elena Nikolova. Find out more here (Bulgarian).

Websites.

For small businesses, I can create a website that is placed on a platform that they can easily manage on their own. I’ve done several projects like that: I designed a website on Squarespace and then the client were able to manage and update it on their own, by continuing their annual subscription. Here are some examples:

1_ Tranquilea.it is a retreat and holiday house in Italy, created by the wonderful team of Mike and David.

2_ Nomadways is an NGO based in France which creates artistic and educational workshops for artivists.

3_ Friziora.com is a local hairdressing business based in Sofia whose team I know for more than 20 years.
